왏 Syntax:

set host <#> <ip>

왏 Description:

Sets the IP addresses for the first and secondary TACACS+ server.

왏 Arguments:

#: Number from 1 (first TACACS+ server) to 2 (secondary TACACS+ server).

ip: IP address of the TACACS+ server

왏 Example:

ES-2126+(tac-plus)# set host 1 10.1.1.1

Sets the IP address of the primary TACACS+ server to “10.1.1.1”.

쮿 set key

왏 Syntax:

set key <secret-key>

왏 Description:

Sets the encryption key for the communication with the TACACS+ server.

This key must correspond with the encryption key which is configured in

the TACACS+ server.

왏 Arguments:

secret-key: maximum 31 characters.

왏 Example:

ES-2126+(tac-plus)# set key secret

Sets the encryption key to “secret”.

쮿 set retry

왏 Syntax:

set retry <retry>

왏 Description:

Sets the access retry value. When the login failed for the number of retries,

the secondary login method will be used.

If TACACS+ is defined as primary access mode, the secondary TACACS+

server is used after the number of login failures has reached the access

retry value. After the number of login failures has reached the access retry
